🚂 wallpaper + trains + valves
Three things I am making, loving + thinking about this week

The plan for the installation of my show includes a 12ft by 2ft pattern behind the artwork on the wall. To achieve this I am printing the pattern on Peel and Stick Wallpaper. This is one small piece of the overall project puzzle but since it is being printed by Spoonflower, I’m not in control, timing-wise. Adding to the timeline, I need to order samples to review the line weight and color before placing the final order. If I didn’t get my butt in gear, I ran the risk of missing my window for the wallpaper to arrive in time for the show. So I hustled this week and placed the sample order yesterday. 🤞

October is Chicago Railroad History Month. My Grandpa spent 40+ years working for the Pennsylvania Railroad in Chicago. In 1946 he captured these images with a Kodak Brownie camera:

This is the Instagram post I came across that alerted me to Chicago Railroad History Month and reminded me of my Grandpa’s photos. It is both funny and serious, solid advice. ⬇️
